well, it's been almost 3 months of dreadfulness and I'm still loving it. :)
THere is this new issue i've stumbled into however.
Last evening I enjoyed the first bonfire of the season and now I've got a campfire smell to figure out. Usually I can chase any other odors away by burning incense in my room, but this may be tougher.
I may have to break down and wash those suckers again.
but washing means waxing the dreds afterwards
so that's about half an hour to wash, 2 hours to dry, 45 minutes to wax...
how long does it take you to wash and do your hair?
I can count on almost 3 hands how many times I have had dreadlocks and can say that if you go out and buy beeswax (I can show you what I used, I still have a bottle) and put it in each dread itll take ANY smell out.
ReplyDeleteAlso, after a month I washed my dreads every day.
Mine. Takes about 15 minutes to wash. All day to dry. Only wash it like 2x a week because it'll get funky real fast if I do it normally. I've been told by several people in the know that I have 'black folks' hair. Every since I started doing what they said mine has been golden.
